Knicks Gaming Select Six Players in Inaugural NBA 2K League Draft

NEW YORK, NY, April 4, 2018 – Knicks Gaming, the official NBA 2K League team of The Madison Square Garden Company (NSYE: MSG), selected six players today in the first-ever NBA 2K League Draft. The draft, which was held at The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, was composed of 102 players who will become the competitive gaming league’s first professionals when the inaugural season tips off in May.

With the ninth selection in the first round, Knicks Gaming selected power forward Dayvon Curry from Virginia Beach, VA, who uses the Gamer Tag: G O O F Y 7 5 7. With its second pick in the snake-style draft, Knicks Gaming selected small forward Nate Kahl, a native of Milwaukee, WI who uses the Gamer Tag: NateKahl. For its third pick, Knicks Gaming selected Eric Ward, a shooting guard in Indiana who uses the Gamer Tag: YEYNotGaming. In the fourth round, Knicks Gaming selected Adam Kudeimati, a native of Wayne, NJ at the point guard position who uses the Gamer Tag: iamadamthe1st. With its fifth pick, Knicks Gaming selected center Idris Richardson out of South Carolina who uses the Gamer Tag: idrisdagoat6. For its final selection, Knicks Gaming selected Marc Rodriguez, a local of Bronx, NY, a power forward who uses the Gamer Tag: xKPMR.
